I am looking for an African-American outdoor community to do kayaking and cycling activities. I currently live in Flagstaff, Arizona and plan to move to Portland. However before I do I would like to know if Portland has a black community and what it is up to.

Greg, I was referred to you by Greg Bell. I am interested in learning more about your organization. As an avid outdoorsman, I really like what you are doing and would like to get involved.

Hello, My name is Sabrina. I have recently moved here from Chicago, IL. I was told about AAOA and immediately went to this website. I have often been the only African American in hiking and camping situations. I have been looking for an organization like this for years. I have gone on two Outward Bound Adventures, one in North Carolina, when I was younger and in College. The other OB adventure was in Canada, in June of 1997. I have some questions and was wondering if someone could give me a call or is there a number I can call to ask questions. My e-mail address is Sabrina172@verizon.net.
